Review: The Social Network

You don't get 500 Million Friends without making a Few Enemies

Surfmarketing took an opportunity recently to see a special preview of the film Social Network, the story behind the beginning of Facebook and the two lawsuits heavily contested by its founder Mark Zuckerburg.

It is rare to see a hollywood film that is without over embellished plots, no big car crashes and certainly no cheap thrills. The fill assumes the intelligence of its audience whilst telling the complicated story of two lawsuits heavily contested by Mark.

The film is both poignant, compelling and staggering as it tells the story of one mans (or perhaps two mens) determination to see an idea through and not get overwhelmed by an opportunity to make a quick buck.
