Living with iPad

what's all the fuss about?

Ok ok.... so I was there on launch day eagerly awaiting the doors of the Apple Store to be flung open so I could get hands on with my new iPad. Does that make me sad? Don’t answer that.

To be fair, my adventure was a slight lazy affair. I didn't get up at 4 am to camp outside of Apple or anything, I just went along there for 7:30. By 8:10 my purchase was made. Being a mobile me customer, before I had left the store my calendar, mail, contacts, notes and bookmarks where all updated on my new iPad. Sweet.

GAP Rebrand or PR Stunt?

Was this really to be the new Logo for GAP?

So GAP seemingly tried to introduce a new logo for their company. Why they thought they needed a re-brand is unknown. But the image above was distributed and perpetuated to be the NEW brand logo. Deciding to use the helvetica[esk] font, dropping the white on blue colouring and dropping the large square background in favour of a small blue square behind the 'p' and using black on white text.
